With sustainability in mind, the SAVORTEX EcoCurve™ hand dryer range has been meticulously designed by award-winning British designer Matthew Conley to meet LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) compliance.

The aerodynamic design invites users and compliments modern office décor. The range is available in bespoke colours and customised branding.

While sustainability is about the future of our society, for today’s industries and businesses, it is also about commercial success.

The following paragraphs explain how the SAVORTEX product design exceeds specific LEED standards and why contractors and specifiers should consider our unique solutions to help their sustainably focused clients meet environmental targets while fulfilling commercial objectives and profitability through our unique, data-driven, energy and cost-saving technology; it’s a win, win for all.

What is LEED compliance?

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a globally recognised green building certification system for the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of sustainable buildings, homes, and neighbourhoods. Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), LEED helps building owners and operators improve environmental performance while using resources more efficiently.

1.06 Operation and Maintenance
  1. Designs and installations shall be carried out to ensure that operation and maintenance requirements are optimised.
  2. Energy efficiency shall be maximised by minimising energy consumption while maintaining the required functionality, comfort, and user experience.

SAVORTEX hand dryers meet this standard: Powered at just 450W and 550W, the SAVORTEX range is among the world’s most energy-efficient smart warm air hand dryers, delivering exceptional performance with minimal energy consumption.

2.04 WARRANTIES
  1. Unless otherwise stated within the individual specification sections, all equipment shall be covered by a minimum 12-month warranty from the date of handover.
  2. All warranties shall include both parts and labour.
  3. Manufacturers shall ensure that defective products are repaired within a reasonable timeframe. If a repair cannot be completed promptly, the product shall be replaced at no additional cost, or a temporary replacement unit shall be provided to maintain service continuity.
  4. Where recurring defects occur, warranty periods shall be extended appropriately to ensure the product performs as intended.

SAVORTEX smart hand dryers exceed this standard: Every SAVORTEX hand dryer is backed by an industry-leading 5-year parts warranty, providing long-term reliability and peace of mind.

Other Process Loads Yes Energy Use (kWh) 81,026.25 81,026.25 0

It can be seen from the extract above that no energy savings are expected from “Other Process Loads”.

SAVORTEX smart hand dryers exceed this standard: The SAVORTEX hand dryer range is 50%–88% more energy efficient than conventional hand dryers, helping reduce energy consumption where no savings are otherwise expected.

SAVORTEX smart hand dryers support this standard: Our hygienic brushless motor and antibacterial technology help create a cleaner and healthier washroom environment.

9.5 ID c1.5: Advanced Energy Metering – LEED Pilot Credit 26 (1 Point)

The contractor shall install advanced energy metering for all whole-building energy sources and major end uses representing 10% or more of annual building energy consumption.

  • Meters shall be permanently installed and record data at intervals of one hour or less.
  • Electrical meters shall record both energy consumption and demand.
  • Data shall be stored for a minimum of 18 months.

SAVORTEX smart hand dryers exceed this standard: SAVORTEX is the only smart hand drying technology with built-in real-time energy metering and reporting capabilities, supporting advanced energy monitoring requirements.
